And we had one more winner at the November meeting, Bob Kuntz (last year’s recipient) choose Tony Guastella as this year’s recipient of the perpetual trophy for “Most Improved Flier of the Year”:
“Tony flies regularly in the mornings weather permitting just as I do so I observed his flying all year and in my opinion he constantly improved his skills as the year went on more than anyone else that I observed.” – Bob
And in his new position as VP in 2018, Bob also promised to get the trophy engraved with Tony’s name after the first of the year!
Ben Poole’s Drone footage of
Jason flying in the Control-line circle!
Jason Gross and John Buckner were flying control-line double “in formation” today, July 22… you can see both of them in the center of the circle… but by the time this video was shot, John’s plane had already touched down. These guys got in several nice flights together! Thank you Ben for the video!
Ben Poole put it all together and made it happen. Eric Reinhart created the Certificate… and Ben made the presentation to the (mostly) smiling kids at the Boys and Girls Club. Be sure to CLICK on that big picture to see those kids… too cute!
Ben reports that the kids loved it and we are going to invite them out for an “intro to flight day” in the spring.
Your generosity allowed us to donate a gift of $360 to the Boys and Girls Club of Kingman!
